This package is compulsory for representatives from Malaysian universities and the University of Tsukuba and includes:

E-certificate of participation

2. What does the conference fee cover for online participants (USD 50 / MYR 211)?
This package is for international participants outside Malaysia and Japan and includes:

3. Who must register as physical participants?

All representatives from Malaysian universities

Representatives from the University of Tsukuba

Speakers and delegates attending on-site in Ibaraki, Japan

Representatives from universities outside Malaysia and Japan

Participants unable to travel but wishing to join virtually

5. Does the fee cover travel and accommodation?
No. Travel and accommodation must be arranged individually by participants

Participants can choose from:

Hotels in Tsukuba city (business, mid-range, international chains)

Guesthouses or hostels (budget-friendly)

Short-term rental apartments (e.g., Airbnb)

2. Where can I stay during the conference?
Yes. Many hotels are within 10–20 minutes by bus or taxi from the campus, especially near Tsukuba Station (TX Line).


3. What is the average cost of accommodation?

Business hotels: JPY 6,000–10,000/night

Mid-range hotels: JPY 10,000–15,000/night

Guesthouses/hostels: JPY 3,000–6,000/night

4. Will the University provide accommodation?
No on-campus accommodation is available. However, the secretariat will share a recommended hotel list with special rates (if available).


5. How do I travel from Tsukuba Station to the University?

Bus: 10–15 minutes (frequent city buses)

Taxi: ~10 minutes (JPY 1,500–2,000)

On foot: 20–30 minutes from some hotels

6. Are food and convenience stores nearby?
Yes. Most hotels are close to restaurants, 7-Eleven, FamilyMart, Lawson, and shopping areas.


7. Can I book accommodation through the conference secretariat?
No. Participants must book their own accommodation, but guidance and hotel links will be provided.

9. Do hotels in Tsukuba offer English support?
